Early Birthday.

I got to do some early birthday shopping this week and I am super stoked about it.
Here are some of the goodies that were purchased.

I fell in love with this Fossil watch and had to have it.

These sweet ridiculously stupid priced jeans.

And these awesome boots that were also super cheap from

Birthdays are the best. The big 20 which means absolutely nothing other than I am no longer in the teens but hey it means presents right?
Sorry I'm having a vain moment if you can't tell.

Here are the last Challenge days
29 & 30.

Day 29
Your favorite memory.
There seriously are so many but one of my favorite would have to be at Coco Bongo in Cancun with my girls. It was honestly one of the best nights of my life, I would give anything to go back.

This picture is not at Coco Bongo but at a different club in Cancun, I miss it so much.

Day 30.
A picture of you from last year and how you have changed since.
This is at Thanksgiving last year.

This is me a few weeks ago.

As you can tell I look totally different. My hair is about 5 inches longer and blonde. Weird. It's crazy how much you can change in a year.

Shmaturday.

I spent my Friday night last night alone in my apartment watching the Jazz game.
Who am I? I don't remember the last time I spent a Friday night by myself. I'm not
complaining because it was actually super peaceful and I didn't exactly have a choice since I had
to work in Logan today. Needless to say Jazz beat the cocky ass Lakers :) that's all that matters.
I found myself clapping and yelling at the TV in my empty apartment, it was weird. GO JAZZ.

I'm currently in the process of making a better than sex cake because it is Jakes 23rd birthday today.
Unfortunately he is in Idaho but will be returning tomorrow and I know he will be super excited for his
birthday cake. I know I am, its the best cake in the entire world.
Happy Birthday Jake :)
Also I get to hang out with my best friends tonight. Kaylie Shae Layton, Courtney Ann Spendlove and Jenna Marie Black. I love these girls to death and hopefully I can convince them to watch The Grinch with me because I NEED to watch it. I love it.

Day 28
What do you predict about your future?
I'm kind of with Jenna on this one, who's to say what my future will be like. I know I want to get married and have a family and be happy. Thats all I can really say. No one but God knows how my future will turn out.

Wednesday Thursday Friday.

Thanksgiving was a great day minus a few dramatic mishaps
between family members but you can usually expect that with the Moore family.
I couldn't eat very much which really disappointed me but it was still delicious.
I slept the majority of the day and then ended up calling it a night at about 8:30
and slept in till 10:30 totaling approximately 14 hours of sleep. Pathetic I know.
I had to work today and it was lame as always, I had no desire to be there and it went
by way too slow. I told my boss I was quitting because I really just want to be able to
do whatever I want over the holidays and not be tied down to a job.
Call me a quitter because I am one but I just would rather spend time with the people
who mean the most to me. Who needs money anyways?
Needless to say the holidays shipped my boyfriend to Idaho which leaves me currently
spending my Friday night in Logan doing geology homework because I have to
work again tomorrow. Lame. Also my bff Kaylie is sick which means even if I was
in Ogden I would probably be doing nothing as well. Get better dear :) if I could bring you ice
cream right now I totally would. Also I think Saturday should be skipped as a whole tomorrow and we can go straight to Sunday. That is all. I'm done bitching for the day.

Day 25
Your first love.
That would be Michael James Ward. We were together for almost 3 years. I put him through hell and back and for some odd reason he can manage to be friends with me. Even though there are no longer romantic feelings toward him I can honestly say he is one of my very best friends. He's great.

Day 26
A habit you wish you didn't have
Hmm I have a few bad habits but one of my worst is probably Facebook.
I am an addict. I am deleting it for my New Years Resolution, we'll see how long it lasts but I need to at least try.

Day 27
What are your goals?

Happiness is all that matters in life.

Blizzard Warning.

Today is a special day.
It's my moms birthday.
I have the most amazing mom in the entire world.
She may be turning 42 but it seems like she is turning 17.
She acts like a teenager and I absolutely love it.
Happy Birthday Momma, I love you.
Me and Jake are headed down to Ogden again
for her birthday to go to Tepenyaki and I just
found out there is a blizzard warning so
good thing I am making him drive because I get
stressed out driving the canyon in the snow.
I am getting super excited for the rest of the
week to spend time with my family and friends.
I am so grateful for everything I have and love this time
of the year :)

Day 24
A picture that makes you happy
Any picture of this little guy makes me happy.
I have the cutest nephew ever.

Winter Weekend.

I had such a great weekend.
Jakes family is amazing.
We went to dinner with his sister's family and
he has the cutest nephew ever.
Cute little guy wanted to hold my hand the minute he met me.
What a ladies man.
Saturday we watched Man on Fire (such a good movie)
and then went to his little sister Jessie's pageant
which was super entertaining.
She looked beautiful and did an amazing job.
Then we stayed up till one in the morning watching Swamp People
on the History Channel with his dad.
Surprisingly its actually a pretty good show.
It's about these ghetto swamp people that gator hunt for a living.
Sunday we had the opportunity to be there for his dad to get ordained
a high priest and then his Mom cooked a big turkey dinner for everyone and
we spent the rest of the day hanging out with the family.
Jake said his family really liked me which I was nervous about so that's a good thing.
We left Sunday night and the weather got so bad that we had to pull off in Pocatello
and stay at his friend Kodey and his wife Sarah's house.
They were super nice to let us stay with them.
We made it safely home this morning.
After this weekend all I can say is I am one happy girl.
Today me and Jake are headed down to Ogden to see my great grandma who is in the
hospital and spend some time with the family.
She's a tough lady and she's in our thoughts and prayers.
Get better grandma, we love you!

Day 21
Favorite TV Show
I have a lot but my all time favorite would have to be this one

Day 22
Favorite Book
I am going to go ahead and be completely honest and say that I don't read books all that often.
The last ones I read were the Twilight series so I guess those are going to have to be my favorite?

Day 23
Favorite YouTube Video
Marcel The Shell With Shoes On.
Never ever gets old. I love this video.

Friday, November 19, 2010

Idaho.

Me and Jake are headed to Idaho for the weekend.
His little sister is in a pageant tomorrow night.
Should be pretty fun, I'm excited but nervous.
Meeting the family is always a bit scary.
The good thing is he's kind of cute and a kind of like him.
Okay I lied, more than kind of.
:)

Challenge Day 20
Favorite Movie
Well I can't pick between these three.

Sports Movie: The Blind Side

Intense Movie: The Number 23

Chick Flick: The Last Song

Friends

Today I am being a good college student and spending the majority of my day in the library.
Go me. Ignore that I am also blogging in the library, oops.

Day 19
Friends.

Kaylie Shae Layton.
My mom gave her my middle name since she doesn't have one. I love this girl more than anything. I honestly do not know what I would do without her. I consider her part of my family and so do my parents. She's kind of taken my spot back in Ogden. She works for my dad, babysits my nephew. My moms buying her a Kitchen Aid for Christmas, and my dad makes her say the closing prayer in family home evening. She is also the funniest girl I know, she's always making me laugh no matter what. We are together almost 24-7 and when we are not we are on the phone at least every ten minutes. Sometimes I feel like we're in a relationship haha. She is moving in with me in a couple weeks and I cannot wait, its going to be the craziest/funnest semester of our lives. She looks after me and keeps me in line. We know each others secrets, we cry, we laugh, we get mad at each other but at the end of the day, as cheesy as it may sound, she will be my best friend forever. I love you baby girl.
This picture is from Christmas 09' it's my favorite picture of us.

Courtney Ann Spendlove.
My baby girl, literally. I feel like I am her mom. I take care of her and make sure she's doing what she should be. She is also one of the funniest girls I know. She has no filter whatsoever and says exactly what is on her mind, its the best. She is always always happy and its something I envy, she has a positive attitude about everything. One of my best friends for sure.
Boating Summer 2010.

Jenna Marie Black.
My girl. I have known her since we were in 5th grade, we've been friends on and off for the last 9 years. She is one of those friends that you know you will be friends with forever. We are so much alike and she really understands me. I love when we Skype and have hour long chats about life, reminiscing on the summer of 2009. She gives great advice and I look up to her in so many ways. She has big dreams and aspirations and she is so driven to achieve them. I am going to miss her so much when she moves to San Diego but I am so proud of her for living her dreams. I love you Jenna Pants.

Scotie Oliverson
My newest and dearest friend. She is the prettiest girl on the face of this earth. Even though we just became friends a few months ago, I can honestly say I can consider her one of my best friends. She is so spunky and happy all the time. So cute and innocent. I love her to death.

Is she not gorgeous?

Stefanie Lynn Stack. Sophia Wallman. Michele Nasabal. Bailey Sjoblem.
I love all of these girls. They are amazing.
Sophia is missing in this picture, but I do love her.

Day Eighteen.

Challenge Day 18
Siblings.

Aubrie Rose Moore
Age: 17
Beautiful mother of Jhett Delano Anderson, 7 months.
This is my little sister by age but my big sister by maturity.
Having a baby at 16 she had to grow up really fast but I am so proud
of her for graduating and being such a loving mother.
I don't get to see her all that often and I miss her more than she will
ever know. She is the strongest person I know. I love you Aub Cakes.

Teagan Ray Moore
Age: 15
My little bro is awesome. He's at that age where he hates everyone
but his friends, we all know how that goes.
He'll like me one day haha. Teagan is so talented though, he gets
straight A's and is the most amazing artist. I love you Teag.

Parentals.

Day Seventeen.
Parents.
I have the most amazing parents in the world.
Literally.

Momma.
This woman is my best friend. We tell each other EVERYTHING. Which sometimes can be a little much but that's why I love our relationship because I know I can go to her with anything and she will be 100% understanding. She is a teenager at heart, sometimes I feel like I'm her mom instead of the other way around but that's why she is so great. She has always been the cool mom that everyone goes to when they can't tell their own mom. Me and my friends even invite her to hang out with us every now and then, that's how awesome she is. Not to mention she took me and my friends crazy asses to Cancun for our senior trip, that takes a lot of patience haha. I love you momma. Thanks for being so amazing.

Daddy.
Don't act like you didn't know it was coming, my dad is a body builder. He's also the hardest worker I know. He does so much for me and my family, he gets up every morning and goes to work so that I can go to college, my mom can spend his money and my brother can, well do whatever it is my brother does.  I'm a daddy's little girl at heart. My dad is amazing. I love you Daddy.

Monday, November 15, 2010

Weekend.

Had a great weekend as always.
Scotie and Kaylie came up and we
were our usual crazy selves.
Man, I love those girls.
I'm very grateful that I have such
great friends, not just them but all my
friends. You guys are amazing.

Day Fourteen
A picture of someone or something you miss.
These girls and these days.

This :( I think that's all I need to say.

Jadyn Stocker. Come home.

Day Fifteen
A picture of you when you were little.
Don't have one so this day is getting skipped.
Oops.

Day Sixteen
Something your looking forward to.
Growing up.
Getting married.
Having a family.
Graduating college.

Thirteen.

I have a confession.
I woke up at 1 pm today.
That is horrible.
I didn't even go to bed late.
My name is Shae and I
am addicted to sleeping.
On another note, its the weekend!
Utah State vs. Weber State Basketball tomorrow
night, should be a great time!
GO AGGIES!
Challenge Day Thirteen
A picture of your dream home
I want my dream home to look like a ski/snowboard lodge.
Huge but really homey if that makes sense.

Something like this with really tall ceilings and big windows.

Or like this one, up in the mountains

I like this one too.
And I want a huge backyard and a pool with a big
waterfall and slide.

hahaha I know this isn't very realistic but it is called a DREAM home right?

Have a great weekend everyone!

Twelve Shmelve.

Today I got to skype with one of
my best friends Jenna.
She's one of those friends you've known
forever and probably will be close with forever.
We have a lot in common and it was
really good to chat with her.
She's great.
I love this picture of her, I miss these days.

Challenge Day Twelve
Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment

Let The Snow Fall

Challenge Day 9
Put your Ipod on shuffle and write the 10 songs that pop up.
1. Independence Day-Martina McBride. Grew up listening to this lovely lady.
2. Gives You Hell-All American Rejects. I really don't even like this song.
3. Wanted Dead or Alive-Bon Jovi. Hahahahah classic.
4. Mariella-Kate Nash. Love this woman.
5. Gun Powder & Led-Miranda Lambert. The go-to song when your angry.
6. Memories-David Guetta. Our New Zealand theme song, I miss that place.
7. Rodeo Clowns-Jack Johnson. Gotta love Jack.
8. If Your Reading This-Tim Mcgraw. So sad.
9. Who Do You Think You Are-Spice Girls. I still listen to these girls at least once a week I LOVE them.
10. Long Live-Taylor Swift. Her new album is heaven.

Today is a great day. I love it when I can sleep till noon, look out
my window and see snow falling down like crazy.
I love snow. Cold, not so much.
But snow I love.
I hope our Winter is better than last year.
I feel like we didn't get enough snow.
I want it to snow so much, Utah State gives us
a snow day, It's happened before.
So let it SNOW!

I would kill for this to happen to me. This is awesome.
Look at the car behind the two men, you can barely see the windows.
God, pretty please let it snow like this!

Seven and Eight.

Day Seven.
Finish the sentence, I am...
I am human. Humans make mistakes, we're not
perfect. No one is. I am grateful for this fact
because sometimes I get down on myself
for things that have happened in the past, but
then I remember this awesome part from The Lion King

Rafiki hits Simba on the head with his stick.
Simba: Ow! Geeze what was that for?
Rafiki: It doesn't matter it's in the past
Simba: Yeah but it still hurts
Rafiki: Oh yes, the past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it, or learn from it.
This is so true, I've learned to learn from my
past rather than run from it.
Life is about making mistakes, and learning from them and moving forward.

Day Eight
If you could have any pet, regardless of what it is, what would you have?
Hmm thats a hard one.
It would probably have to be a baby koala.
They are so cute, they've been my favorite animal since I can remember.
So cute.

Happy Sunday.

Idiot.

30 Day Challenge Day 6 "What did you do today?"
Today I've been an idiot, straight up.
Worked for my dad at the restaurant and literally dropped
everything I touched.
Silverware, a whole huge bag of crackers, a wad of one dollar bills.
You name it I probably dropped it today.
Then on my way home I forgot I needed to go to the bank so
I turned around and drove to the Zions where I pulled up to the side of the building to see what time
the drive thru closed, only for some reason in my silly little brain I thought it was Saturday
and the sign said they closed on Saturdays at one, so I left.
I didn't realize it was Friday and they were open until 5 until my mom told me she was running to the bank and I proceeded to tell her they were closed because it was Saturday.
Needless to say she made fun of me pretty bad.
Oh well, I guess it's just one of those days when your constantly having brain farts.
It happens.
My day isn't over yet but me and Kaylie are headed to Logan in a bit for the weekend
and it should be a great one :)

Hope everyone has an amazing weekend.

New Job.

Forgot to mention the most important part about this day.
I got a JOB!
Over 50 girls applied and they only hired 6!
I feel pretty special.
Vanity in Cache Valley Mall,
meet your newest employee.

Ready For Change.

A few things happened last night that really opened my eyes
and made me realize what I truly want in life.
The events of last night didn't really involve me,
I was more of a spectator but still it made me want to strive even
more for what I want in life
So let's just put it this way,
Fun and excitement is what the world teaches us to desire
but fun and excitement are both temporary emotions.
A night of fun always and ends, and excitement is usually an emotion that lasts a few minutes.
Joy and Happiness however is what I desire.
These are everlasting emotions, if you live your life the right away.
The right way can be different for a lot of people but for me it means following the example of this amazing man.

Jesus Christ.

Now some people may roll their eyes at me
but I have honestly never been more happy doing what
I should be doing.
And I find joy and happiness for MYSELF, and that is all that matters.

Also, I literally cannot wait for Kaylie to move in.
We keep each other sane.
We are so ready for a change of scene and a new crowd to hang out with.
Don't get me wrong, we love the people we have been hanging
out with, but their lifestyle is not the kind we want.
So here's to new beginnings :)

30 Day Challenge Day Five
Something that makes you feel better
Nicole Nordeman.
Listen to this song, she is inspiring.
Pay attention to the lyrics

Ps. Sorry expressing my spirituality is offensive to anyone but then again it's my blog so I can say what I want :)

Day Four.

So I have an interview this afternoon at Vanity in the Cache Valley Mall.
Ghetto? I know, but I am desperate so wish me luck!
Also I had my usual Wednesday Indian food from Tandoori Oven.
Try it, you'll fall in love.

Challenge Day Four
10 Pet Peeves
1. When people clap after the movie is over in movie theaters. They can't hear you so don't clap.
2. Flaky people. If your say your going to do something then do it.
3. When people wear black and brown (sorry if you do, I just hate it)
4. Just like Rach and Jenna when people TyPe LiKe ThIs
5. One word texts
6. Bad waiters/waitresses
7. When people at the kiosks in the mall attack you
8. When my dad deletes my Teen Mom or Jersey Shore recordings
9. When people "fish" for compliments
10. When people say Layton or Mountain with an accentuated T sound, even though its probably correct.

Return With Honor.

For some reason today, I have a lot of gratitude for return missionaries.
Yep, I said it, RM's.
They are honestly so tender.
I love how awkward they are when they just get home.
Not to mention how horny they are. (haha had to say it)
But really when I think about it these young boys give up two whole
years of their lives to serve their Heavenly Father.
I don't think I could ever do it, so here's to you boys,
your amazing.

D&C 4:4-5
4 For behold the field is white already to harvest and lo he that trusteth in his sickle with his might, the same layeth up in store that he perisheth not, but bringeth salvation to his soul
5 And faith, hope, charity, and love, with an eye single to the glory of God, qualify him for the work.

Day Three

Something you crave a lot

Chocolate Mint Water, Try it. It’s dreamy.

Monday, November 1, 2010

Day Numero Dos.

A picture of your celebrity crush and 5 things you would do with them.
Well I honestly can't pick between Andrew Jenks or Duncan Penn. So here is three with each.

Andrew Jenks:
1. He would document my life for one week.
2. We would kiss, a lot.
3. I would just stare at him because he is gorgeous.
Duncan Penn.
1. We'd get married
2. I'd have his babies
3. We'd grow old together
aka I am in love with him.

Halloween Weekend.

This weekend was one of the best in long time.
Friday night me and Kaylie dressed up as nerds and went to Hallowfunkaween in Salt Lake.
Before that we made our usual stop at In N Out, our favorite.
Once we got to Salt Lake we danced nonstop for 4 hours, it was insane.
It was one of my first nights out without wearing my dumb boot on my foot.
(I fractured my foot 6 weeks ago)
Needless to say the next morning it hurt pretty bad but it was worth it.

We got our nerd on.

Pretty sure I saw a ghost or something.

Come Saturday we were at it again.
We pretty much slept all day so we could get prepared for the night ahead of us aka The Howl.
Me and Kaylie went and picked up our dear friend Scotie and her two friends Jessie and Heather and headed up to Logan.
This time me and Kaylie dressed up as One Night Stands, and the other girls were Barbies.
We waited in line at The Howl for over an hour, and pretty much almost died.
There were so many people in line and we got squished.
We lifted up our feet and we literally stayed in place.
I almost had a panic attack because I couldn't breath!
Once we got in we got in a fight with one of the volunteer girls because she called me a bitch.
I was pissed, but it was funny afterwards.
Soon after that we lost Scotie, Jessie & Heather.
After the getting in fiasco me and Kaylie just went in and danced the night away, yet again.
We had such a good time.
Afterwards we went to Beto's (Classic) with some friends, and ended up at my friend Ryans house who lives in a creepy Catholic church right next to campus.
Needless to say, we ended the night around 4:00 a.m.
It was one of the best weekends in a long time.

One Night Stands.

5 hour energy. It's all we need.

I'm so grateful for such amazing friends, new and old. They keep me sane.
